Active User

The Active User determines which Applications are displayed in the Startup Applications tab list. The Startup Applications list will refresh to show all available Startup Applications that are currently started when the Active User logs into the computer.

An additional user entitled Common contains Startup Applications that are launched when any user logs into the computer. The Startup Applications displayed in the Common list are launched in addition to those for a particular user. All Common user items are launched before the Active user, unless they are delayed with an arbitrary time value.

Accessing some users on the system may require Administrator access. A prompt will be displayed if this is required. Generally this prompt will only appear if you have UAC enabled.
